Get Kids Going

As many of you know, I plan to run the marathon in London on 17th April. I would like to get your help with some sponsorship for a truly worthy cause that I am supporting. I will run for a charity – Get Kids Going; see www.getkidsgoing.com  -  which is dedicated to giving disabled children and young people the opportunity to participate in sport. They provide specially built sports wheelchairs, so the kids can take part in all the sports that we so easily enjoy. A lightweight wheelchair costs around 15,000 AED, a bespoke wheelchair is around 24,000 AED. If I can raise enough money through your help for Get Kids Going to buy either type of wheelchair (or both!) it will be the difference between disability and ability for some kid somewhere…..

My part in this, running 42.2kms, is a small effort in comparison to the value of your gift, the efforts of the marvellous people who manage Get Kids Going and the determination of the kids themselves….
